About
Twenty years guiding. Then I started building.
Who you'd actually be dealing with.
I'm Josh. I spent two decades as an adventure guide — working seasons around the world, living out of a bag, and spending most of my working life alongside small tourism operators and the little businesses that keep a town running.
Nearly all of them had the same problem, and it had nothing to do with the quality of their work. The trip was excellent. The food was excellent. The website was a Facebook page, or something a cousin built years ago, or nothing at all. Guests couldn't find them, couldn't tell whether they were legitimate, and booked with whoever looked more professional — not whoever actually was.
That gap bothered me enough that I learned to close it. I started building — first my own projects, then for the kind of operators I'd worked next to for twenty years. Everything in the section below is something I've created or co-created, and every link works.
Lately I've been deep in AI — not as a buzzword, but building real things with it. A couple of the products below are AI tools I made end to end. It's also why I can build a proper site in under a week for $500 when an agency needs six weeks and $3,000.
I'm not an agency and I'm never going to pretend to be one. I'm one person who has been on your side of the counter, who knows what a booking enquiry actually has to do, and who would rather look after your site for years than take one big cheque and disappear.
Rankin is where I grew up, back in Ontario. Naming the business after a real place felt more honest than naming it after nothing.
